Web Conference Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble with the Web Conference, here are some suggestions.

First of all, make sure that you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your browser, version 5.5 or better. Also, your windows operating system should be at least Windows 98 second edition. The Voice Cafe cannot be used on Macintosh computers without an emulation mode through a product called VirtualPC from Connectix (www.connectix.com), but we can neither verify nor guarantee this support.

You must have your Windows Updated: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

If you are accessing the internet behind a FIREWALL make sure that these sites are allowed: www.voicecafe.cc and voicecafe.optecs.net.

Also recommended is a visit to the Voice Cafe Frequently Asked Questions Page which addresses a large variety of questions and issues.

If you still have problems AFTER trying the above, open and run the following registry file to reset your internet security settings in line with what the Web Conference requires:
http://www.voicecafe.cc/confighelp/VoiceSet.reg.
